Our client is seeking someone in the Medical Device industry, who is driven to improve patient outcomes. As a leading innovator in pacemaker technology, dedicated to developing life-changing devices that improve the lives of patients suffering from heart rhythm disorders. Our client are a growing company with a strong focus on patient-centricity and a remote-first work environment.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our pacemaker business across the EMEA region. You will be a strategic partner to our internal teams, developing and executing market development plans to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for pacemakers across the EMEA region.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and participation in industry events (both virtually and in-person).
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, physicians, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the benefits of our pacemaker technology.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the pacemaker market.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and clinical affairs.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of the EMEA medical device market, with a specific focus on cardiology and pacemaker technology.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare reimbursement landscape across the EMEA region.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other major European language (French, German, Spanish etc.) is a plus.
