Position Overview: Astute Business Consulting is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. The Business Development Officer will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the firm.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients, industries, and market segments to pursue for business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and networking efforts.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the firm’s client base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that meet client needs and address business challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospects and clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the consulting or professional services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
