Job Summary:

Ecobank Ghana PLC is seeking a highly experienced Chief Risk Officer to oversee the bank’s risk management strategy and ensure effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of all financial and operational risks.

Job Description:

The Chief Risk Officer will develop and implement comprehensive risk frameworks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide strategic guidance on risk management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of the bank’s risk management strategy.
• Identify, assess, and monitor credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.
• Ensure compliance with local and international banking regulations.
• Advise senior management and the board on emerging risk issues.
• Oversee risk reporting, analytics, and mitigation processes.
• Promote a risk-aware culture across all business units.
