JOB VACANCY

Job Summary: A reputable food production company seeks the services of an IT/System Administrator, who would be responsible for taking care of the administration of its hardware and software, including license administration, remote backups, update services,

mail client administration, software installations, virus protection, etc.

Location: Amanase, Suhum E/R

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the functionality and security of our IT infrastructure and networks.
  • Support with the introduction and administration of new tools and linking between individual systems.
  • Provide technical assistance for colleagues with problems/questions as first-level support
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers
  • Installation and support of new networking hardware eg. Switches, wireless access points
  • Ensuring all CCTV equipment is operating correctly and report any fault to management
  • Ensuring the security of IT infrastructure maintenance/monitoring of anti-virus, patching

and network monitoring

  • Identify security gaps and provide relevant solutions in consultation with management
  • Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup system

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required for this Role

  • A university degree or comparable training in the IT field; experience with MS exchange server environments is an advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding and affinity for IT
  • Basic interest in system administration and network technology
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Independent, quality, and solution-oriented way of working; organizational talent and strong communication skills
  • Ability to discover optimization potential and implement solutions
  • Business fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
