 We have an exciting open role for a results-driven Full-Time Onsite Social Media Manager and Communications Associate.

Location – Abuja

REMUNERATION N100,000 – N150,000 per month

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager and Communications Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and implementing communication strategies to promote our brand and engage with our audience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a creative mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand voice and values.
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of social media efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics and performance to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing and executing communication strategies, including press releases, newsletters, and internal communications, to effectively communicate with stakeholders and the public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in social media management and communications, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual storytelling.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
