JOB PURPOSE
The Travel & Tours Executive will support the day-to-day operations of the travel and tour agency, with responsibility for ticketing, tour coordination, customer service, and travel documentation. The role focuses on service excellence, business growth, delivering high-quality travel services, supporting sales activities, maintaining strong client relationships and the development of competitive travel and tour products.
ROLE SPECIFIC
- Oversee daily operations of the travel and tour agency
- Plan, develop, and manage local and international tour packages
- Handle flight bookings, ticketing, and travel reservations
- Manage customer relations and ensure high service standards
- Build and maintain partnerships with airlines, hotels, embassies, and tour operators
- Support visa processing and travel documentation where required
- Support marketing, sales, and business development activities
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues
- Recruit participants and coordinate training Programmes of the Agency
- Manage budgets, pricing, and cost control measures
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a travel and tours environment
- Experience in ticketing and reservations is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel booking systems
