Job Summary:
The National Venture Capital Company of Zimbabwe (NVCCZ) seeks a Business Development Officer to identify new investment opportunities, lead strategic expansion initiatives, and cultivate stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and sector analysis to identify new investment opportunities
- Lead strategic expansion initiatives and form partnerships
- Source and evaluate high-potential start-ups and SMEs for venture capital funding
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of investment opportunities
- Engage with stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, incubators, and government bodies
- Design and implement marketing strategies to promote NVCCZ's visibility
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Studies, or Marketing
- At least 2 years' experience in business development or a related field
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently
- Proficient in gathering and interpreting market data for business growth
