Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and organize the kitchen to ensure efficiency in food preparation and service.
- Cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
- Study and follow recipes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff, supervise performance, and provide on-the-job training where necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the availability of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team effectively.
- Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as required.
