Job Description
The Head of Marketing drives customer acquisition, brand positioning, and revenue growth. The role focuses on creating and executing data-driven marketing strategies that increase product adoption, improve conversion rates, and support profitability. The ideal candidate understands SaaS marketing, fintech ecosystems, and the Ghanaian SME landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Growth and Revenue Marketing
* Develop and execute quarterly growth marketing plans aligned with revenue targets.
* Own the customer acquisition strategy across digital, partnerships, field, and referral channels.
* Optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and improve the LTV to CAC ratio.
* Work closely with Sales to increase SQLs and improve conversion rates.
Brand and Positioning
* Define the company’s brand voice and positioning within the fintech ecosystem.
* Develop campaigns that strengthen trust, credibility, and market authority.
* Oversee PR, media engagement, and thought leadership initiatives.
Digital Marketing and Performance
* Manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
* Oversee website performance, SEO, landing pages, and conversion funnels.
* Track and report marketing KPIs weekly and monthly.
* Lead email marketing and CRM automation initiatives.
Product Marketing
* Lead go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
* Develop value propositions and messaging for different customer segments.
* Support Sales with pitch decks, case studies, and marketing collateral.
Market Intelligence
* Conduct competitor and industry analysis.
* Identify new customer segments and growth opportunities.
* Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop the marketing team.
* Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
* Set KPIs and performance standards for the team.
Requirements
* Proven experience in SaaS or fintech marketing, preferably focused on SMEs.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and performance analytics.
* Experience in lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion optimization.
* Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
