📢 Job Opening: Internal Control Officer
A leading organization is looking to hire an experienced Internal Control Officer (Chartered - ACA/ACCA is mandatory) to strengthen its Risk & Assurance function
Workmode: Fully Onsite
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
🔍 Role Summary:
Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, drive compliance across business processes, minimize risk exposure, and safeguard company assets by enforcing sound control frameworks.
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
▪ Assist in designing and monitoring internal control frameworks across departments
▪ Review operational processes to detect control gaps or inefficiencies
▪ Perform periodic risk assessments and recommend control enhancements
▪ Monitor transaction postings and monthly bank reconciliations
▪ Investigate irregularities, support fraud prevention efforts
▪ Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on control issues
📌 Requirements:
✅ Min. 4 years experience in Internal Control/Risk Management is a requirement
✅ Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or similar
✅ Professional certification (ACA/ACCA) is a must have.
✅ Strong understanding of control systems, risk management & governance
✅ Detail-oriented, analytical with strong communication skills
