The Role
This role is positively challenging and will provide growth to the prospective role holder. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and result-driven Operations Manager with proven experience in overseeing the daily operations of a diagnostic center. The role-holder will be responsible for coordinating activities across all units to ensure efficient workflow, ensuring regulatory compliance, and excellent client experience. He/she will focus on optimizing processes, managing resources effectively, and driving a culture of performance and accountability within the center. Most importantly, in line with our client’s standard, he/she should be committed, hardworking, reliable, and focused on delivering precise and high-quality diagnostic outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic oversight of daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
• Supervise and collaborate with departmental leads to ensure coordinated performance and alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear team objectives, and implement development or corrective action plans where necessary.
• Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and turnaround time.
• Oversee the end-to-end patient journey, ensuring efficient coordination from registration to result delivery and enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
• Ensure effective resource management, including adequate staffing, equipment functionality, facility maintenance, and supply availability to support uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, patient satisfaction, and revenue targets, preparing regular performance reports for
management.
• Monitor client feedback and drive initiatives for continuous improvement and service excellence.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or a related field (a Master’s degree or healthcare certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a diagnostic, healthcare, or clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in process improvement, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis, operational reporting, and the use of healthcare management systems.
