Videographer - National Service Opportunity

Job Summary:

As an NSS Videographer, you will support the production of high-quality video content to promote the organization’s activities, campaigns, and events. You will be responsible for filming, editing, and managing video projects for various platforms including social media, websites, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for events, interviews, promotional materials, and campaigns.
• Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and pre-production planning.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during production.
• Edit raw footage into engaging and polished videos using professional editing software.
• Collaborate with the communications or marketing team to align video content with organizational goals.
• Manage video archives and organize footage for future use.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (social media, web, TV).
• Contribute creative ideas to improve video storytelling and audience engagement.
• Support photography and other multimedia tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Communication Studies, or related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience operating professional cameras and audio equipment.
• A strong video portfolio or demo reel.
• Good storytelling, visual, and audio editing skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects, Blender).
• Basic knowledge of photography and photo editing.
• Familiarity with social media content formats and trends.
• Experience with livestreaming and multi-camera setups.
