The Administrative Assistant Intern will support our operations, programs, and communications. This role is ideal for a motivated student or recent graduate seeking practical experience in professional association management, finance, event coordination, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist with day-to-day operations, including scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, meeting packs and minutes, and preparing presentation slides
● Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, webinars, and member programs
● Assist in preparing social media content, newsletters, and website updates
● Help maintain engagement across digital platforms
● Assist with member and volunteer onboarding and communication
● Support member outreach and engagement initiatives
● Assist with preparing reports and presentations
Qualifications and Skills
● Undergraduate or recent graduate
● Business Administration, Communications, Finance or a related field
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Video Conferencing Tools (Zoom, Teams), Canva, MailerLite or CRM tools is an advantage
● Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
