Vacancy: Customer Support Field Engineer

Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Education:
• Minimum 5 Year Academic Degree in (Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science & IT)
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent Associate and professional certification
Experience:
• At least 5 years experiences in Telecommunications, with field operational support experience.
• At least 4 years' experience in fixed infrastructure, VoIP, Transmission and IP environment
• In-depth knowledge of fiber optic network design, including experience with metro and long-haul optical transport networks.
• Extensive field experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DWDM networks
• Experience with IP networking equipment, including installation and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and related hardware in a field environment.
