Job Description
• Deliver structured cybersecurity training to beginners with clear practical relevance (75% hands-on sessions).
•Teach three sessions daily (Monday to Friday): morning (theory), afternoon (practice), evening (group reviews/projects).
•Support students with mentorship, assessments, and project reviews.
•Work collaboratively with an assistant coach (if assigned) and house manager.
•Provide real-world simulations, labs, and tools to mimic actual cybersecurity challenges (e.g., ethical hacking, network defense).
•Track progress and give feedback regularly to both students and the program team.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2–3 years of real-world experience in cybersecurity (consulting, red/blue teaming, SOC, or equivalent).
•Proven ability to teach and simplify complex concepts for beginners.
•Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or EC-Council certifications.
•Must be able to commit full-time during the 4-week training window.
•Comfortable with an immersive bootcamp structure — fast-paced, residential-style training.
Nice to Have
• Experience teaching bootcamps or mentoring junior analysts.
•Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or TryHackMe/HackTheBox.
•Ability to handle both theory and hands-on labs with limited slides and more simulations.
•Understanding of cybersecurity career pathways to help guide students post-training.
