KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the Reliability Teams to ensure the facilities are maintained efficiently and safely. Assist the Plant Managers to develop planned maintenance with the use of CMMS.
  • Safety & Compliance: Establish and enforce safety protocols, maintenance procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant facility.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Budget Management: Support the Plant Managers to develop and manage the facilities operational budget, including cost control and expenditure forecasting.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained for effective response to incidents.
  • Reporting: Support the Plant Managers to prepare regular reports for senior management and the client, detailing plant performance, safety, and compliance metrics.

ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT & CONSTRUCTION (EPC)

  •  Assist the EPC Project Team during the Construction, Installation and Commissioning Phase.
  • Review Authorized For Construction drawings (AFCs), P&IDs, and commissioning checklists.
  • Review all Red Lines and As Built Drawings to confirm accuracy and compliance with original designs and modifications.
  • Supervise the completion of installation tasks during the construction phase, while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Make recommendations to the HSE Team to develop strategies to improve health, safety, and environmental standards at all production systems.
  • Ensure that warranty and punch list issues are effectively managed after commissioning of the plant.
  • Ensure adherence with quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) standards.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE (OM)

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of electrical systems within the facilities.
  • Responsible for adhering to the life cycle asset management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of all electrical systems associated with the equipment, systems and modules of the facilities.
  • Design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve asset maintenance strategies that incorporate value-added predictive, proactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maximize the effectiveness and utilization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline maintenance processes, track asset performance, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact the plant operations.
  • Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect the plant operations (capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues).
  • Work with the Operations Team to perform analysis of assets.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
  • Provide technical support to the Operations Teams and Plant Managers.
  • Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign and make/buy decisions.
  • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance to eliminate failures and unplanned maintenance.
  • Act as a key point of contact during electrical emergencies, coordinating efforts to restore operations quickly and safely.
  • Promote a culture of safety by conducting regular safety audits and ensuring adherence to safety policies.
  • Maintain required regulatory documentation updates.

PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS

  • Actively contribute to all Purchase and Service Order Agreements relating to the maintenance of the plant.
  • Ensure materials are available for planned maintenance, overhauls, and mandatory inspections.

FINANCE & COMPLIANCE

  • Understand, monitor, and optimize operating costs within the authorized budget.
  • Assist in developing plant budget needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Management, is a plus.
  • Multicultural experience is mandatory.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role specifically in the Oil & Gas industry.
    Previous experience within a Gas conditioning/processing is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants, including Process Safety Management, OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, EEOC guidelines, and other federal and local requirements.
  • Familiarity with Instrumentation and Industrial Automation, Supervision Systems (SCADA and HMI), PLC-PAC programming, and industrial networks.
