Summary of Role
The Financial Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks to support the organization's financial reporting and analytical needs. Key
duties include preparing accurate financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), reconciling accounts and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Financial Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant tax laws, accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* CA or ACCA certification required
*5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in using accounting software and Spreadsheet applications
* Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills
