Graduate Intern Sponsorship

Purpose of the position:

World Vision Zimbabwe is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Graduate Intern to support the Step User for Sponsorship Operations on the HOPE system. The intern will assist Area Programs (APs) in establishing, maintaining, and facilitating positive relationships between registered children and their sponsors, parents, communities, and Support Offices.

Major responsibilities:

- Provide support towards designing of annual mailings that is Christmas Cards, APRs, Community Update-letters.
- Providing clerical support to AP Sponsorship operations.
- Conduct data capture for registered children in HOPE system.
- Support with the compilation of draft reports on a monthly basis.
- Checking child history forms from CDWs for accuracy.
- Field Drops and maintenance of RC supply in the system.
- Checking child history forms from CDW for accuracy.
- Provide support towards the processing of general correspondence (mail from sponsors and RC).
- Production of Sponsorship 2.0 products with quality review.
- Filling and housekeeping tasks on the HOPE system.

Knowledge/qualifications for the role:

- A holder of a Social Science Degree or a related programme
- Computer competency in MS Office -MSWord, Excel, Access, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to speak local languages
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to learn and work under supervision
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking
- Good interpersonal skills
