Role Summary
The Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our medical and nursing staff by providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses and medical staff with clinical duties and patient examinations.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in patient areas.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Formally trained (Must possess a relevant Certificate or Diploma in Healthcare Assistance or a related field).
- Minimum of 2 years of consecutive and active work experience in a hospital environment.
- Proven knowledge of basic patient care and clinical procedures.
