ICT Teacher

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching ICT at all levels.
• Working independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrating good typing and communication skills.
• Teaching all relevant areas of the curriculum.
• Organizing the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment.
• Creating attractive and educational classroom displays.
• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to learners of varying abilities.
• Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods.
• Maintaining discipline and ensuring effective classroom management.
• Preparing, assessing, and marking students’ work to support positive academic development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of relevant teaching experience.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
• Strong typing and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively.
• Experience as a WAEC examiner will be an added advantage.
