Ensure all import documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Support compliance of government regulations concerning import, trade agreements, and global operations.
Monitor the activities of agents, regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders closely to ensure proper documentation in conformance with global trade standards.
Analyze and verify import costs, including freight, insurance, and customs duties.
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless import operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost settlement and reporting.
Generate reports and dashboards to track import costs and performance metrics.
What Will Make You Successful?
Two or more years of relevant experience or role at market/business environment:
- Import / Export and Transportation
- Foreign Trade & Customs
Ability to be pragmatic and fact-based
Knowledge of customs regulations and import compliance.
Ability to be analytical
Ability to be a team player
Ability to be innovative seeking new ways to improve or facilitate the logistics or supply chain function
Good communication skills
Attention to details.
Ability to speak French or Portuguese is an added advantage
