IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description

The IT System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. The role ensures smooth system operations, network stability, cybersecurity, and minimal downtime across production and warehouse systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and IT infrastructure
• Manage LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices
• Troubleshoot network and system issues to reduce production downtime
• Maintain IT assets (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode systems, etc.)
• Support ERP systems (SAP preferred) and basic database operations
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery systems
• Implement endpoint security, antivirus, patch management, and cybersecurity measures
• Conduct system checks and vulnerability assessments
• Provide IT support for production and warehouse operations
• Coordinate with vendors and system integrators
• Support automation and IT infrastructure projects from setup to deployment
• Maintain IT documentation, licenses, and service contracts
• Train users on systems and tools when required
• Recommend improvements to enhance IT efficiency

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in IT system administration (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and networking concepts
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage)
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in production environments
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to provide on-site support when required
• Age: 23–28 years
• Male candidates preferred
