Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal/Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that Pruvia Trading operates within the law at all times and maintains robust compliance standards. This role involves monitoring regulatory developments, advising management on legal matters, and implementing policies that protect the organization from legal risks.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company’s operations comply with legal regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop, review, and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and communicate their impact to management.
  • Provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, and corporate matters.
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
  • Support dispute resolution and manage external legal counsel when necessary.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Law (LLB/Bar) is an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in compliance or legal advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently
