Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Experience working in a law firm is an advantage.


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong typing, transcription, and document formatting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage lawyers’ schedules, appointments, and court dates.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and records.
  • Handle client inquiries and correspondence professionally.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare minutes when required.

  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of court filing procedures is an added advantage.
