Paint Mixer

Job Description
A multi-product Marketing company with head office in Accra and a number of branches in some of the regions in Ghana, and a member of a West African conglomerate is looking to engage resourceful persons for different units of its operation.

Responsibilities of a Paint Mixer:
1. To mix automotive paint according to customers specifications and formulas. Have excellent knowledge in measuring and combining different paint pigments, binders, and additives to achieve the desired color and consistency.
2. Keep track of inventory and ordering new paint as needed.
3. Perform routine checks on paint mixtures to ensure quality control.
4. Must have an eye for color accuracy, be physically fit for the job and possess good manual dexterity.
5. Have the habit of Cleaning and maintaining assigned work equipment

Required Skills or Experience
Minimum of 2years in the same role as a paint mixer
• Minimum certificate should be NVTI or HND (High School certificate with many years of experience can be considered).
Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Must be resident in Greater Accra Region.
Knowledge of both hand mixing and machine mixing is an added advantage.
