Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Monitor project costs and report on any variances.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and track project cash flow and financial progress.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Prepare and submit interim and final valuations and payment applications.
- Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, PlanSwift).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
