Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations across construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring robust safety systems that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, minimize workplace risks, and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification exercises, and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health, environmental, and construction safety regulations.
• Design and lead safety induction programmes for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental occurrences.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, and operational teams to ensure safety objectives are achieved.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Certifications:
NEBOSH International Certification
Valid First Aid Certification
Fire Safety Certification
