Injaro Investments Limited ("Injaro") is a private equity and private credit manager focused on impactful investments across Sub-Saharan Africa. We support businesses that generate social and economic value. Injaro serves as the Advisor for the Agri Business Capital Fund (ABC Fund), which seeks to channel private sector investments into SMEs in the Agricultural sector across Africa.
Position Summary
Injaro is seeking skilled and motivated Investment Analyst and Senior Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with opportunities for travel across Africa. These roles offer the chance to make meaningful contributions to sustainable economic development. The ideal candidates must possess experience in evaluating investment proposals, managing credit facilities, and demonstrating a commitment to impactful finance.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, assess, and recommend investment opportunities aligned with Injaro's impact objectives.
* Conduct comprehensive financial, impact, and transaction analysis for prospective investments.
* Prepare detailed proposals for the Risk Committee and Investment Committee.
* Lead and execute on-site due diligence.
* Assist or lead in deal structuring, negotiation, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.
* Develop and maintain relationships with management teams at portfolio companies to support ongoing monitoring and performance.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business administration, agricultural economics, development economics, or a related field.
* Professional Experience :
* Investment Analyst: Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience.
* Candidates with less experience may be considered for an internship.
* Senior Investment Analyst: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, with at least two (2) years in:
* An impact fund as a credit analyst, or A reputable financial institution, or A reputable consulting firm, or
Skills & Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills,
maturity, and demonstrated ability to build
relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proven expertise in structuring, managing, and monitoring agricultural or impact finance projects.
Proficiency in both French and English (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and capacity for teamwork.
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
* Willingness and ability to travel across Africa.
