Job Description :
A Farmers Shop, is seeking a shop Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the farm shop by providing excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, maintaining well-stocked and attractive displays, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and product quality. The role involves assisting customers with product information, managing stock levels, and contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist customers with product selection and inquiries
• Provide information about fresh produce and other farm products
• Operate the cash register and handle cash/card payments accurately
• Restock shelves and rotate stock to maintain freshness
• Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shop
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
• Support promotional displays and seasonal product arrangements
