Sr. Executive - Engineering Procurement

What to expect:

•      Engineering / Miscellaneous Procurement

•      Develop, lead, and execute engineering procurement strategies as well as Lab Chemicals & Consumables.

•      Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms

•      Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts.

•      Able to handle SAP MM Module and E-Auction.   

•      Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business

•      Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking

•      Assess, manage and mitigate risks

•      Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

•      Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

•      Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business.

•      Analyse market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes.

•      Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.

•      Procurement of equipment’s, utilities, Capex, Opex  as per GMP norms

Essential education, experience and skills:

•      Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Bachelor’s degrees must be full-time.

•      Relevant experience of 8 - 10 years in engineering procurement of capex and MRO items in any pharmaceutical industry.

•      Experience in MNC in Pharma/Biotech, or related process industry is desirable. Knowledge of GMP guidelines in Pharma/Biotech industry is must.

•      Analytical bent, with excellent engineering knowledge of equipment’s, suppliers/vendor base and consultant
