JOB OBJECTIVE
The Structural Engineer will oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved designs. The role supports delivery of structural and civil projects, especially high-rise developments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Site Supervision & Execution
• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure compliance with plans.
• Maintain site safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors.

2. Project Planning & Coordination
• Prepare work schedules and communicate updates.
• Coordinate materials and equipment.
• Liaise with clients and consultants.

3. Technical Support & Quality Assurance
• Provide technical advice and improvements.
• Review and approve drawings.
• Ensure quality standards.

4. Procurement & Vendor Management
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Negotiate with suppliers.
• Monitor material usage.

5. Reporting & Documentation
• Compile reports and present updates.
• Maintain site records.
• Troubleshoot issues.

FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* Minimum of 3–6 years’ experience.
* High-rise project experience preferred.
* COREN is an advantage.
* Valid driver’s license required.
