Location: Agbogba, Accra (with regular field travel to fishing communities) 

Reports to: Production & Quality Control Lead / CEO 

Salary: Gross ghs2000 - ghs2500 

 Job Summary: 

Our client is seeking a proactive and people-oriented Field Supply & Supplier Engagement Officer to coordinate our seafood sourcing activities from fishing communities. The ideal candidate will spend significant time in the field engaging suppliers, managing inventory flow, and ensuring smooth supplier payments and reporting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with people on the ground. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

● Build and manage relationships with fishers, agents, and seafood suppliers. 

● Identify and onboard new suppliers to meet company sourcing needs. 

● Coordinate deliveries from field to facility, ensuring quality and timelines are met. 

● Visit fishing communities regularly to maintain engagement and ensure supply commitments. 

● Track daily inventory, supply volumes, and shortfalls using tools provided.

 ● Submit timely reports on supply performance and supplier activity. 

● Facilitate supplier payments in collaboration with the Finance team. 

● Maintain accurate records of all field activity, supplier details, and delivery logs. 

● Escalate supply risks or challenges to management proactively. 

 Key Requirements: 

 ● Minimum WASSCE/SHS certificate. Diploma/HND or any vocational certification in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus. 

● Excellent people and relationship-building skills—especially with local communities. 

● Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records. 

● Basic computer literacy and experience using Excel, WhatsApp, or digital tracking tools. 

● Willingness and ability to travel frequently to fishing communities. 

● Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision. 

● Ability to speak local languages is a plus.
