Thematic Specialists

Role Overview:
Thematic Specialists focus on cross-cutting themes such as Gender & Social Inclusion, Data Strategy, AI and ICT, or Youth Empowerment, ensuring these themes are integrated across all ADEL projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate thematic priorities into project design, implementation, and M&E frameworks.
• Develop thematic guidelines, toolkits, and best-practice documents.
• Provide technical training and capacity building on thematic areas.
• Conduct thematic analyses and contribute to thought leadership.
• Advise project teams on emerging trends and innovations within the theme.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of specialized experience in the thematic area.
• Proven experience mainstreaming themes into complex development programs.
