Overview
The daily responsibilities of the Travel Consultant will include taking reservations, arranging travel, establishing trip plans, offering first-rate client service, and consulting on travel.
Responsibilities
• Itinerary Planning: Research and create personalized travel itineraries for clients, including booking flights, hotels, and activities.
• Destination Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on destinations, transportation, and accommodations to provide expert advice to clients.
• Client Communication: Build relationships with clients, understand their travel needs, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Booking and Confirmation: Book travel arrangements, confirm reservations, and ensure accuracy of travel documents.
• Travel Documentation: Prepare and provide travel documents, such as tickets, visas, and travel insurance.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot travel-related issues, such as flight cancellations or changes, and provide solutions to clients.
• Travel Advice: Offer advice on travel requirements, such as vaccinations, travel restrictions, and cultural information, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip.
Requirements
• Skills in Travel Management, Travel Advisory, and Travel Planning
• Knowledge of reservations and customer service
• strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Organizational abilities and attention to detail
• understanding of the global tourist sector.
• Working knowledge of a wide range of clients
• Capacity to function well in a high-pressure, time-sensitive setting; proficiency in both English and French is advantageous.
