Wellness and Welfare Coordinator

JOB TITLE: WELLNESS AND WELFARE COORDINATOR

LOCATION: OSU – NYANIBA ESTATE

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness and Welfare Coordinator to join the People and Culture Department.  The Wellness and Welfare Coordinator will be responsible for for developing and implementing occupational therapy programs that enhances employee well-being and productivity. This role involves assessing employee needs, designing wellness initiatives, and providing support to individuals and teams to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement occupational therapy programs that address the physical and mental well-being of employees.
• Develop and manage programs that support employee welfare, including employee assistance programs (EAPs), counselling services, and financial wellness initiatives.
• Conduct assessments to identify employee needs and develop personalized wellness plans.
• Educate employees on the benefits of occupational therapy and promote participation in wellness programs.
• Advocate for a culture of well-being and work-life balance within the organization.
• Collect and analyze data on program participation, employee health metrics, and feedback to measure the success of wellness and welfare initiatives.
• Prepare and presents report to People and Culture leadership on program outcomes and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Health Promotion, or a related field
  from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in occupational therapy or a similar wellness-focused role.
• Relevant certification is a plus.
