Overview:
A world class automobile firm needs the services of a workshop manager to engage. The selected candidate shall play a critical role by ensuring that the workshop runs efficiently, providing high-quality service to customers, and leading a skilled team of professionals and shall contributes significantly to customer satisfaction and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision and Leadership:
   - Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including managing technicians, mechanics, and support staff.
   - Schedule work assignments and ensure that jobs are completed on time and to the required standards.
2. Quality Control:
   - Ensure that all repair and maintenance work meets the firm's quality standards and complies with industry regulations.
   - Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Resource Management:
   - Manage the workshop's resources, including tools, equipment, and inventory of spare parts.
   - Order supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels to support operations
4. Customer Service:
   - Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing any concerns or complaints they may have regarding services provided.
   - Ensure that customer expectations are met through effective communication and service delivery.
5. Financial Oversight:
   - Prepare and manage the workshop budget, including labor costs, parts inventory, and operational expenses.
   - Monitor and analyze financial performance, using metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Training and Development:
   - Identify training needs for workshop staff and facilitate ongoing professional development.
   - Mentor technicians and mechanics to enhance their skills and knowledge.
7. Health and Safety Compliance:
   - Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the workshop.
   - Conduct safety audits and implement necessary improvements to minimize risks.
8. Workflow Management:
   - Implement efficient workflow processes to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround times.
   - Analyze and optimize the scheduling of jobs to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.
9. Reporting and Documentation:
   - Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and customer interactions.
   - Generate regular reports on workshop performance, including productivity, quality metrics, and financial data.
10. Collaboration:
    - Work closely with other departments, such as sales, parts, and administration, to ensure smooth operations and effective customer service.
    - Communicate effectively with senior management regarding workshop performance and any issues that arise.
