EN ROLE: IBT SALES AGENT – CHINA EXPORT DIVISION
Mission of the Role
The IBT Agent represents the company in their country or area of competence, with the goal of promoting and developing supply opportunities for materials, machinery, and equipment sourced from China in the Construction and Renewable Energy sectors.
They act as a commercial ambassador of IBT, responsible for establishing strong relationships with Contractors, Developers, and Distributors.
The main contact person for the agent is the Procurement Director, preparing the ground for negotiations and the conclusion of contracts managed directly by IBT.

Main Responsibilities
1. Business Development
• Identify potential clients in the construction and renewable sectors (Contractors, Developers, Distributors).
• Create and maintain a structured local database (using the Excel model provided by IBT).
• Make first contacts (calls and emails) following the official IBT scripts and templates.
• Present IBT and its global procurement solutions from China.
2. Quotation Process Management
• Gather clients’ technical specifications for each Request of Quotation (ROQ).
• Complete and send the EPAF (Export Project Application Form) to IBT with all required details.
• Maintain continuous contact with IBT and the client during the analysis and quotation phases.
• Participate in potential IBT–Client video calls to strengthen relationships and credibility.
3. Follow-up and Client Loyalty
• Proactively manage client nurturing, maintaining long-term relationships.
• Build client trust and position IBT as a stable and reliable partner.
• Report to IBT on new business opportunities and feedback collected from the market.
4. Coordination and Communication
• Maintain all official communications through designated IBT channels.
• Do not negotiate prices or commercial conditions independently; IBT manages these aspects directly.
• Operate in full compliance with IBT procedures, ensuring transparency, ethics, and brand consistency.

• Official documentation and tools: brochures, email templates, phone scripts, Proforma Invoice samples, and EPAF.
• Ongoing technical and commercial support from the IBT team.
• Initial training and periodic updates.

Ideal Agent Profile
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with decision makers (Procurement Directors, Project Managers, Developers).
• Good organizational skills and proficiency with main digital tools.
• Professional ethics, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility in representing the IBT brand.
• Market research and lead generation abilities.

To build, within their market, a solid and lasting network of relationships capable of generating a steady flow of Requests for Quotation (ROQs) and supplies managed by IBT, contributing to the sustainable growth of the IBT Export international network.
