Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Management
Monitor and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues including DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
Perform network performance analysis and optimization using tools like:
SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or Nagios
Cisco Prime, Meraki Dashboard, or Aruba Central
Implement and maintain network security measures including:
Firewall policies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, FortiGate)
NAC solutions and port security
Manage IP address schemes and subnetting
Document network configurations and topology
Server Support
Provide basic support for Windows/Linux servers as needed
Assist with Active Directory user management and Group Policy
Support virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V) at network level
Network Operations
Respond to and resolve network-related incidents (L2 support)
Participate in network capacity planning
Assist with network hardware upgrades and replacements
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for circuit troubleshooting
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional network administration experience
CCNA or equivalent networking certification (preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
TCP/IP networking and routing protocols
Network security fundamentals
Wireless networking concepts
Experience with:
Cisco/Juniper/Aruba networking equipment
Network monitoring tools
Basic troubleshooting of server connectivity issues
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
Basic PowerShell/Python scripting for network automation
Understanding of ITIL processes for incident management
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and in team environments
