What You’ll Do

  • Provides both routine and non-routine project-based and administrative support to the President of Tripadvisor Core, the General Manager of Core Business and the General Manager of Growth.
  • Handle a high volume of competing requests that require professional discernment on appropriate urgency/prioritization to complete. 
  • Provide extensive calendar support requiring prioritization of multiple calendars with effective communication across various stakeholders (especially Administrative colleagues) throughout the company
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, confidentially and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures 
  • Plan and coordinate external facing meetings, which may include cross functional teams and outside vendors
  • Provide coordination support to staff meetings and town halls including organization and development of presentations
  • Greet and assist external visitors with a strong level of customer service
  • Draft, review, proofread, and format internal and external communication to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
  • Attend staff meetings if/as requested; take notes and follow-up on outstanding agenda items
  • Identify issues for escalation and keep in constant communication with others to ensure that the executive is well informed
  • Provide total travel coordination including air and ground transportation, hotel reservations, visas and other travel documentation 
  • Provide expense management including compiling receipts to file expense reports and track reimbursement status
  • Assist in coordination of team all-hands meetings, internal events, off-sites, and all logistical and budget requirements related to the above
  • Partner with Facilities, IT and Security to resolve any logistical issues and assist in every way possible to ensure tasks are completed
  • Available and responsive to the global nature of the business


What You’ll Bring

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of senior level support experience; prior experience providing administrative support to a C-level, public company executive preferred
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven administrative success in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners
  • Work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fantastic organizational skills and great follow through on tasks
  • A problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in learning by helping, bringing a solutions-oriented approach to administrative challenges 
  • Enthusiasm to work with the larger admin team on process improvement, balancing elements of administrative excellence with our own unique corporate culture
  • Interested in / excited by the idea of handling both complex projects and routine work simultaneously
  • Ability to guide/mentor junior administrative staff
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential information, Ability to exercise sensitivity, discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy given that information handled may be confidential and complex in nature
  • Superior computer skills (MS Office Suite & Google Suite, required; Workday Expense experience a plus); ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports within Excel
  • Research skills to provide background information and context for external meetings, assemble daily briefing materials, and enable streamlined information flow from the business to deliver timely insights
