TECHNICAL MARKETING OFFICER

ASSIGNMENTS

- Respond to enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically and in person.
- Carrying out germination test on seeds.
- Ensure the prospectivity of test areas and the selection of pilot producers to host the development trials.
- Advise and implement a development strategy for new varieties.
- Ensure the implementation of trials of new varieties with pilot producers.
- Ensure the monitoring of development trials.
- Work with the sales teams to facilitate the introduction and adoption of new varieties.
- Produce development feedback reports on the varieties placed in trials.
- Work as a team with the development manager and other developers.
- Conduct field days with producers to disseminate new varieties.
- Carry out joint missions with sales representatives necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to inspire team members.
- Must be knowledgeable in Crop Management.
- Must possess a good interpersonal skill.
- Knowledgeable in Information and Communication Technology.
- Must possess a good networking skill.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in related field.
- Having a Driver’s license is an added advantage.
- A minimum of Diploma in Agriculture or related field.
- A Degree in relevant field area is an added advantage.
