Nuffield Clinic is a specialized healthcare facility focused on orthopedic, rheumatologic, and physiotherapy care. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Managing insurance claims, reconciliations, and follow-ups.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings.
- Maintaining proper financial records and documentation.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls.
- Liaising with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in payroll management.
- Experience handling insurance claims and reconciliations.
- Prior experience in a healthcare facility is an added advantage.
- Professional certification (e.g., Associate or Full Member of a recognized accounting body) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
