Role: Administrative Assistant
Organisation: Wikimedia Ghana User Group
Location: Dome, Accra-Ghana.
Wikimedia Ghana User Group (WMGH) is seeking a highly organized and proactive National Service Person to support the day-to-day operations of the organization. The role combines administrative support, basic facility/office management, and general team assistance to ensure smooth workflow and a productive environment
- Use tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) and project management tools (e.g., Trello) to support organizational tasks.
- Work closely with the Administrative Lead/Operations Officer and provide support to other staff as required.
- Carry out any other support tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Minimal travel within Accra may be required for errands, event support, or logistics.
Skills and Experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive).
- Willingness to learn and use project management tools such as Trello.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and support different roles in a small team.
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
Compensation
- GHS ¢1000 net per month
- Discretionary transportation allowance to cater for Saturday and holiday events if there are any
Working Hours
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on events.
- Saturdays and public holidays may be required if a training event is scheduled.
