About the Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence and developing strong relationships with distributors, retailers and strategic partners. In this role, you are required to possess expert knowledge of wholesale distribution.
Success in this role requires a proactive minded professional who thrives in building long-term strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, increasing brand visibility across wholesale, retail, e-commerce and distribution channels.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth:
Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities for tobacco products
Expand sales across key channels, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers and export markets
Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals and market expansion objectives
Market Expansion & Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, competitor activity and customer needs
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
Identify new regions, segments and partnerships for growth
Client & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relations with key customers, distributors and strategic partners
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts and long-term agreements
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Product & Brand Development:
Promote the company's rice products, including varieties, quality standards, packaging and certifications
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, trade shows and product launches
Provide market feedback to product development and operations team
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in wholesale distribution/ business development, preferably tobacco products or FMCG.
Proven experience in domestic and/or export market is a plus
