Responsibilities

  1. Digital Content Creation
  • Design high-quality marketing materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar platforms.
  • Manage the College’s social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Maintain and regularly update the College’s website with relevant, engaging, and timely content.
  • Develop multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and presentations, to support promotional campaigns.
  1. Campaign Development and Management
  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns to promote College programs, events, and admissions.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies and improve performance.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective targeting and engagement.
  • Monitor advertising budgets to ensure campaigns are cost-effective and deliver optimal ROI.
  1. Collaboration and Support
  • Work closely with the Student Admissions and Marketing Officer to align digital marketing efforts with recruitment and admissions goals.
  • Collaborate with the ICT Officer to ensure marketing tools and platforms integrate seamlessly with the College’s IT infrastructure.
  • Provide backup support for the ICT Officer when required, including troubleshooting and assisting with technical tasks.
  1. Analytics and Reporting
  • Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
  • Generate reports on website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing outcomes.
  • Submit weekly updates to the Director of Administration, detailing progress and key metrics.
  1. Brand Management
  • Ensure consistent application of the College’s branding guidelines across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Conduct regular audits of online content to ensure alignment with branding and messaging standards.
  • Act as the custodian of the College’s online reputation by monitoring and responding to digital feedback and inquiries.
  1. Event Promotion
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for College events, such as open days, graduation ceremonies, and special lectures.
  • Create event-specific promotional materials and coordinate digital outreach efforts.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth implementation of AV and digital marketing tools.
  1. Training and Capacity Building
  • Train staff and faculty on basic digital marketing techniques and tools.
  • Conduct workshops to enhance digital literacy and ensure effective utilization of marketing platforms.
  1. General Administration
  • Maintain a repository of marketing materials, resources, and assets for easy access and reuse.
  • Document processes and maintain updated guidelines for digital marketing activities.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Director of Administration.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator).
  • Experience managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Ability to support ICT-related tasks when required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
