Responsible for supervising electrical installations on site, from containment and wiring through distribution, testing and certification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise electricians and subcontractors carrying out electrical installations.
- Interpret electrical drawings and schedules; inspect completed works.
- Ensure installations comply with applicable Ghanaian electrical wiring regulations and safety requirements.
- Manage electrical materials, coordinate with other trades, and support testing and commissioning.
REQUIREMENTS
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification. (Note: "HMO" in the original corrected to "HND" – a common typo)
- Valid electrical wiring certification from the Energy Commission of Ghana or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' site electrical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
