English Teacher (International Curriculum)

Job summary

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated English teachers with proven expertise in international curricula, specifically Cambridge IGCSE and/or the IB Diploma Program (IB DP). The successful candidate must demonstrate strong pedagogical competence, curriculum mastery, and the ability to deliver rigorous, student-centered instruction aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in line with the standards of Cambridge Assessment International Education and/or the International Baccalaureate.
• Prepare students effectively for IGCSE and/or IB DP English examinations.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies consistent with international best practices.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical writing, and literary appreciation.
• Track student progress using formative and summative assessment tools.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
• Demonstrated experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or IB DP English.
• Strong understanding of international assessment frameworks and marking criteria.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to academic excellence.

• Familiarity with inquiry-based and differentiated instructional approaches.
• Strong record of student performance in external examinations.
