About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on and skilled finance professional to manage the finances of a growing group of businesses, including Elyon Healthcare (UK), Elyon Lubricants (Zimbabwe & South Africa), Imba Yedu Properties, and other associated ventures. The role will be based in Harare, with responsibility for overseeing financial operations across multiple companies and countries.
The Group Finance Manager will work closely with the CEO and finance staff in each country to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective allocation of resources across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare consolidated group management accounts and financial reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans across all companies.
• Ensure proper allocation of funds between different businesses and projects.
• Supervise and support accounts assistants and bookkeepers in Zimbabwe and liaise with finance staff in the UK and South Africa.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements in Zimbabwe, UK, and South Africa.
• Monitor payables, receivables, and ensure reconciliations are up to date.
• Provide the CEO with accurate and timely financial insights for decision-making.
• Support audits, tax submissions, and other regulatory obligations.
Requirements:
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent) or strong progress towards one.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, ideally with multi-entity exposure.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and international financial reporting.
• Understanding of Zimbabwean financial regulations; knowledge of UK and South African systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small team.
Remuneration:
• Starting Salary: salary range per month (before tax), depending on experience.
• Review: Salary and performance review after 3 months.
