Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company’s financial, accounting, and risk management functions. The role involves setting financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all financial operations of the company
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning cycle
* Prepare accurate financial reports and management dashboards
* Analyze revenue, costs, and variances (budget vs actual) and provide recommendations
* Coordinate finance, accounting, and business risk management activities
* Develop and implement internal control systems and financial procedures
* Conduct regular risk assessments and process improvement initiatives
* Manage internal audit processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations
* Act as key contact for external auditors, banks, insurers, and tax authorities
* Prepare cost analysis reports (production, labour, raw materials, overheads)
* Support strategic decision-making and act as finance business partner to management
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is required
* MBA or additional finance-related qualification is an advantage
* Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in finance/accounting roles
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and taxation
* Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Proven ability to design and implement financial controls and procedures
