FINANCE OFFICER

A leading FMCG distribution company is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Finance Officer to manage financial transactions, reporting, and controls across its operations.
The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial activities, monitoring cash flow, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the business with sound financial insights for decision-making.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and reconciliations
* Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund allocation across operations
* Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems
* Prepare financial reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) for management review
* Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
* Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and internal controls
* Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams on cost control and stock valuation

 REQUIREMENTS
* HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum of 2–3 years experience in finance or accounting, preferably in FMCG or distribution
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
