Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grants & Resource Mobilization Officer to lead our fundraising and partnership development efforts. The successful candidate will identify, track, and apply for international grant opportunities from reputable global platforms such as Funds for NGOs, ReliefWeb, UN Agencies, EU, World Bank, and other international donors.
The officer will be responsible for preparing competitive proposals, coordinating donor communications, and managing reporting requirements to ensure successful acquisition and implementation of grant-funded projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Research, identify, and maintain an up-to-date database of international grant opportunities (e.g., from UN, EU, USAID, DFAT, Norad, Sida, AfDB, etc.).
• Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest.
• Develop and manage donor relationships to enhance the organization’s visibility and funding potential.
• Coordinate with internal teams to design project budgets, logical frameworks, and work plans aligned with donor requirements.
• Track and monitor grant application deadlines, reporting schedules, and compliance obligations.
• Maintain proper documentation of funding applications, contracts, and correspondence.
• Provide regular updates and funding intelligence to management and project teams.
• Support organizational capacity-building in grant writing and resource mobilization.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in grants management, fundraising, or donor relations for NGOs.
• Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals to international donors or foundations.
• Strong understanding of donor landscapes including UN Agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, and private foundations.
• Excellent writing, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
